Featured Work
AMN Passport App
I led the 0→1 product strategy and design for AMN Passport, a mobile experience built to streamline onboarding, assignment management, and communication for travel nurses. Working from initial vision through launch, I defined user flows, led research, designed the end-to-end mobile experience, and collaborated closely with Product and Engineering to ensure clinical, compliance, and operational needs were met.
The app quickly became the most downloaded travel nurse app in the U.S., reducing onboarding friction, improving placement speed, and strengthening community and engagement for healthcare professionals nationwide. During the height of the pandemic, Passport played a critical role in helping AMN deploy clinicians rapidly to facilities where they were needed most.

Hyundai Sedan Smart Assistant — Voice & Conversational Experience
I led the design of Hyundai’s Smart Assistant, a voice- and chat-based automotive shopping experience for web and mobile. The goal was to simplify complex vehicle research by guiding users through trims, features, pricing, and comparisons using natural language interactions. I defined the conversation model, crafted dialog flows, designed the multi-modal UI, and partnered with engineering to align the assistant’s capabilities with real user goals. The result was a modern, intuitive shopping tool that reduced decision friction and introduced a new, conversational way for customers to explore Hyundai vehicles.

When you start off on a journey, you often have an idea where you want to go, but sometimes life takes you on unexpected turns and maybe ultimately to a different destination from where you set out to go. I've discovered that focusing on what matters most (faith, family, friends, being kind, considerate and respectful to others) that somehow you end up on an even better peak than where you expected.
... and in the evenings, I'm a co-founder and speaker for the Orange County Experience Design group that meets monthly in Irvine, CA. I lead UX talks as well as our well-received team design challenges. We have 1,950+ members and have organized over 50 events since we started in January of 2017.
